The poster for Moon was created using a simple gradient mask to create a space in which the hand-drawn lettering would pop. The lettering was drawn by hand on paper, scanned and digitized.

The fox in this poster was illustrated using digital collaging techniques and clipping masks. The lettering was created by manipulating Bodoni Black Italic, eliminating the letterforms' thin segments created a sharper, more modern variation of the already timeless typeface.

I decided to keep the lettering in this poster as basic as possible while allowing the photography tell the story; an uncomplicated manipulation of the type with a simple layering of photography to give the viewer a glimpse into the plot without saying too much.
